Story Summary

However, when the fact that Haera is the real daughter of a famous artist and Li-on is the artist’s adopted child is revealed, the competition between the girls becomes extreme. With a weapon of recognition, the famous artist drives her daughters into a fierce war.

Evaluation

Strength

• The subject of the story is provocative and immersive and the main characters are attractive that people can easily get interested in it.
• It’s interesting that the story unfolds by relating artistic parts to the main characters’ lives. (For example, the story of Gogh and Gauguin is projected on Li-on and Haera.)
• The paintings are colorful and change appropriately depending on the atmosphere.
• It will be popular when it becomes a drama. It has lots of factors that people would love. (competition, love, hardship and adversity, success )

Conclusion

Through the main characters’ growth in their artworks, I could also reflect on my life.

I considered how I could solve this situation if I were Haera. The way this webtoon expresses how enthusiasm for something can push a person to extreme situations and how she overcomes that into great success is so wonderful. This webtoon is not just a simple story but a work that includes the interpretation of art with expertise.
